On Saturday night, the Memphis Tigers will get a chance to see if their impressive all-around performance in their first game will carry over into their matchup with the #11 UCLA Bruins.

Memphis had one of the best offensive performances in the opening weekend by beating Austin Peay 63-0 at home. The Tigers gained a total of 545 yards in the win, including 303 yards on the ground. Their defense had a great game as a unit, too, by holding Austin Peay to just 146 total yards.

Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch was 20-for-27 through the air in the win for 242 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 34 yards and two more scores. Freshman running back Jarvis Cooper impressed in his first college game by rushing for 101 yards and one score on just eight carries.

UCLA had to hold off a late push from Virginia in their opening game and ended up winning 28-20 on the road. The game was close in just about every statistical category, with UCLA gaining 358 yards and Virginia gaining 386. UCLA's defense forced three turnovers in the win.

Bruins wide receiver Jordan Payton had eight catches in that opening game for 98 yards. Junior quarterback Brett Hundley had a decent game by completing 20 of his 33 passes for 242 yards and
