On Saturday, the Louisville Cardinals, who have won eight games in a row dating back to last season, will take on the Virginia Cavaliers in each team's third game of the season.

Louisville showed off their potent offense again on Saturday night when they beat Murray State 66-21 at home. The Cardinals put up a whopping 603 yards in the win, which included 325 yards on the ground. They also held Murray State to just 292 total yards in the game and went all four quarters without turning the ball over.

Freshman running back L.J. Scott ran the ball 11 times for the Cardinals for 126 yards and one touchdown, while Brandon Radcliff had 97 yards and two scores on 15 carries. Quarterback Will Gardner completed 12 of his 22 passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Virginia showed that their nice performance against UCLA in their first game wasn't a fluke by beating Richmond 45-13 in their second game of the season. The Cavaliers were outgained 432-330 in their win, but their defense was able to force Richmond into committing seven turnovers.

In that game against Virginia return man Darius Jennings had two returns for 130 yards, including one that went for 86 yards. Sophomore quarterback Greyson Lambert completed 13 of his 15 passes in the win for 102 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions.
