The Louisiana State Tigers (7-4) will be hoping that their solid defense will be able to handle the potent passing attack of the Texas A&M Aggies (7-4) on Thursday night. During the 2013 season, LSU defeated the Aggies 34-10 at home.

LSU lost their second game in a row two weeks ago when they were shut out 17-0 by Arkansas on the road. In that loss, the Tigers were only able to gain 123 total yards, including just 87 yards through the air.

The Tigers have had one of the best defenses in the nation this season by only giving up 16.4 points per game. Running back Leonard Fournette has averaged 4.7 yards per carry this season for 745 yards and seven scores. Quarterback Anthony Jennings has only been able to complete 47.9 percent of his passes for 1,353 yards with nine touchdowns and six interceptions.

In their last game, Texas A&M had their two-game winning streak come to an end when they were defeated 34-27 by Missouri at home. They gave up 587 total yards to Missouri in that loss, intruding 335 yards on the ground.

So far this year, the Aggies have thrown for 321.2 yards per game and they've scored 36 points per game. Their top player has been wide receiver Josh Reynolds, who has caught 45 passes for 746 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns.
