The Kent State Golden Flashes will have a hard time winning their first game of the season on Saturday afternoon as they have to visit the #22 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Kent State had another upsetting loss over the weekend when they were beaten 23-13 by South Alabama at home. They only gained 277 yards in that loss while giving up 347 yards. The Golden Flashes have only scored 13.5 points per game through two games, which is currently 120th in the nation.

Despite their poor play, Kent Sate quarterback Colin Reardon has played pretty well by passing for 477 yards through two games with four touchdown passes and one interception. Wide receiver Ernest Calhoun has 14 catches this season for 119 yards, while Chris Humphrey has 10 catches for 109 yards and one touchdown.

Over the weekend, Ohio State were upset by Virginia Tech at home in a game they lost 35-21. The Buckeyes turned the ball over three times in the loss and were only able to gain 125 yards on the ground. Ohio State has only been able to score 27.5 points per game so far, which is currently 80th in the nation.

Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett has been unimpressive so far this year, completing just 47.7 percent of his passes for 445 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. Wide receiver Michael Thomas has nine catches through two games for 137 yards and two scores.
