On Saturday, the Iowa Hawkeyes (5-1) will try to stay atop the Big Ten West when they take on the Maryland Terrapins (4-2).

Iowa won their third game in a row last Saturday when they beat Indiana 45-29 at home. They were outgained 432-426 in that game, but they also forced three turnovers without turning the ball over themselves.

The Terps were only able to rush for 66 yards in that game and they turned the ball over four times. Their defense gave up 269 rushing yards and 264 passing yards in the losing effort.

Maryland has been able to pass for 259.3 yards per game and they are scoring 34.7 points per game. Quarterback C.J. Brown has thrown for 1,067 yards with seven touchdowns, and he has also rushed for a team leading 263 yards with five more scores. Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs has 36 receptions on the season and he has 450 yards with three scores.
