The Iowa State Cyclones (2-9) will have a very tough time ending their five-game losing streak as they have to face the #4 Texas Christian Horned Frogs (10-1) on Saturday afternoon. The Horned Frogs beat the Cyclones by the score of 21-17 last year.

Iowa State's struggles continued last weekend when West Virginia was able to beat them 37-24 in Iowa. The Cyclones allowed West Virginia to gain 570 total yards against them in that game, including 285 yards on the ground.

So far this season, the Cyclones are one of the worst rushing teams in the country by only gaining 127.7 yards per game on the ground. Quarterback Sam B. Richardson has completed 57.9 percent of his passes this season for 2,517 yards, 18 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. Richardson also has 435 rushing yards with three more touchdowns.

TCU won their sixth consecutive game last Thursday when they blew out Texas 48-10 on the road. In that win, they outgained Texas 368-290 and their defense was able to force six turnovers.

The Horned Frogs are currently the third-best scoring team in the nation by averaging over 46 points per game. Quarterback Trevone Boykin has been excellent this year by throwing for 3,254 yards with 26 touchdowns and just six picks, and he also has 598 rushing yards and eight more scores on the season.
