The Idaho State Bengals and the Utah State Aggies will both be going for their first wins of the year when they go up against each other this Saturday.

Idaho State had a hard time stopping Utah's offense over the weekend and ended up suffering a 56-14 blowout loss. Idaho State's defense gave up 589 total yards, with 238 of those yards coming on the ground. The one positive that the Bengals can take from that loss was that they didn't turn the ball over.

Idaho State may not have played well in their game, but they had a couple of good performances. Quarterback threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Xavier Finney carried the ball 23 times for 133 yards.

On Sunday, Utah State had a hard time moving the ball against Tennessee and ended up taking the 38-7 road loss. The Aggies only put up a total of 244 offensive yards in game and they turned the ball over three times. They were also only able to convert three of their 14 third down attempts in the loss.

Aggies quarterback Chuckie Keeton only completed 18 of his 35 passes in that opening game for 144 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Wide receiver JoJo Natson should be targeted a bit more in future games after catching two passes for 47 yards against Tennessee.
