The Houston Cougars (7-4) will go on the road on Saturday afternoon to face the Cincinnati Bearcats (8-3), who are on a six-game winning streak. During the 2013 season, the Bearcats defeated the Cougars 24-17 in Houston.

Houston won their second straight game last Friday when they blew out SMU 35-9 on the road. They had 282 rushing yards in that win, and their defense was able to hold SMU to just 223 total yards.

The Cougars have struggled a bit on offense this season, but their defense has made up for that by only giving up 17.8 points per game. Their best offensive player has been running back Kenneth Farrow, who has rushed for 796 yards with 11 touchdowns. Wide receiver Deontay Greenberry has a team-high 59 catches for 653 yards and four touchdowns.

Last Saturday, Cincinnati kept their hot streak going when they defeated Temple 14-6 on the road. The Bearcats didn't play well on offense in that win, but their defense was able to hold Temple to just 267 total yards and forced them into committing two turnovers.

So far this season, the Bearcats have been able to throw for 295.8 yards per game and they've scored 35.2 points per game. Sophomore quarterback Gunner Kiel has completed 60 percent of his passes this season for 2,820 yards, 28 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions.
