On Saturday afternoon, the Georgia Southern Eagles and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will face off in a game that will feature two of the top rushing attacks.

Georgia Southern had a game to remember last Saturday when they were able to destroy Savannah State by the score of 83-9. The Eagles put up 695 total yards in the win, which included 599 yards on the ground alone. They are now seventh in the country with 53 points scored per game.

Eagles running back Matt Breida has run the ball 18 times so far this season for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Kentrellis Showers has just five catches in the team's two games, but those catches have gone for 150 yards and three scores. Quarterback Kevin Ellison has thrown for 227 yards and two touchdowns, and he has also rushed for 150 yards.

Georgia Tech moved to 2-0 on the season by beating Tulane 38-21 on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets only passed for 15 yards in the game, but they made up for it by rushing for 344 yards. They have 285 rushing yards per game, which ranks them 18th in the country.

The Yellow Jackets have been led by sophomore quarterback Justin Thomas, who has 297 passing yards and 141 rushing yards so far this year. Senior running back Zach Laskey has 156 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries this season.
