The Fresno State Bulldogs (4-6) and the Nevada Wolf Pack (6-4) will be battling it out for the top spot in the MWC West when they play each other on Saturday night. The Bulldogs defeated the Wolf Pack 41-23 last year.

In their last game, Fresno State snapped their three-game losing skid when they beat San Jose State 38-24 at home. They rushed for 232 yards in that win and they were able to convert 11 of their 21 third down chances.

The Bulldogs' defense has had issues stopping opponents this year, allowing them to score over 35 points per game. Their top offensive player has been running back Marteze Waller, who has rushed for 1,086 yards with nine touchdowns this season. Wide receiver Josh Harper has caught 62 passes for 793 yards and six scores.

Nevada had their three-game winning streak come to an end last weekend when they were beaten 45-38 in overtime by Air Force. They did have 498 total yards in that game, but their defense allowed Air Force to rush for 342 yards.

Nevada has been able to rush for 194.7 yards per game this season and they are scoring 30.7 points per game. Quarterback Cody Fajardo has thrown for 2,202 yards this season with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Fajardo's top target has been Hasaan Henderson, who has caught 45 passes for 579 yards and four touchdowns.
