The Florida Gators (4-3) will try to move further up the SEC standings when they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores (3-6) on Saturday night. Last season, the Commodores easily beat the Gators 34-17 on the road.

Florida had their first big win of the season last Saturday when they defeated Georgia 38-20 on their home field. They had a very easy time moving the ball on the ground in that win, finishing with 418 rushing yards.

Through seven games, the Gators have scored 30 points per game while their defense has given up 24.7 points per game. Their best offensive player has been running back Matt Jones, who has 616 yards on the season with five touchdown runs. Quarterback Jeff Driskel has only completed 53 percent of his passes for 928 yards, six touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Last weekend, Vanderbilt had their best offensive game of the year when they beat Old Dominion 42-28 at home. They had 524 yards of offense in that win while going 6-for-13 on their third down chances.

The Commodores are scoring just 19.9 points per game while their defense has given up 32.2 points per game to their opponents. Wide receiver C.J. Duncan has caught 25 passes this season for 416 yards and a team-high four touchdowns. Running back Ralph Webb has averaged 4.5 yards per carry and has 755 yards with three scores.
