The #2 Florida State Seminoles (9-0) will face their last big test of the regular season on Saturday night when they face the Miami Hurricanes (6-3). The Seminoles were able to easily beat the Hurricanes 41-14 at home last season.

Florida State remained in the playoff hunt by beating Virginia 34-20 at home last weekend. The Seminoles didn't have the best offensive performance in that game, but their defense was able to hold Virginia to just 257 total yards.

The Seminoles are currently 10th in the country passing the ball by throwing for 319.9 yards per game against their opponents. Quarterback Jameis Winston has 2,540 passing yards this season with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Wide receiver Rashad Greene has been the team's best player by catching 71 passes for 989 yards and five scores.

Miami won their third straight game two weeks ago when they easily beat North Carolina 47-20 on their home field. They had 494 yards of offense in that win, which included 295 yards on the ground. Their defense was also solid, holding UNC to just six rushing yards.

Through nine games, Miami's defense has only given up 21.9 points per game. Duke Johnson has been one of the best running backs in the nation by gaining 1,213 yards on the ground with nine touchdowns. Quarterback Brad Kaaya has 2,087 passing yards this season with 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
