The #2 Florida State Seminoles (12-0) will probably need to beat the #12 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (10-2) in the ACC Championship on Saturday if they want to keep hold on to one of the four playoff spots.

Florida State kept their perfect record intact last weekend by defeating in-state rival Florida 24-19 at home. They did have four turnovers in that win, but their defense stepped up and held the Gators to just 282 total yards.

Through their first 12 games, the Seminoles are 13th in the nation in passing with 299.1 passing yards per game. Their top offensive player has been wide receiver Rashad Greene, who has caught a team-high 86 passes for 1,183 yards and five touchdowns. Reigning Heisman winner Jameis Winston has thrown for 3,250 yards this season with 21 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.

Last Saturday, Georgia Tech won their fourth game in a row by upsetting Georgia 30-24 in overtime. They were able to move the ball on the ground with ease in that win, finishing with 399 rushing yards.

The Yellow Jackets are fourth in the country in rushing with 333.8 yards per game, and 17th in scoring with 37.2 points per game. Quarterback Justin Thomas has thrown for 1,460 yards, rushed for 861 yards and he has a total of 21 touchdowns. Running back Zach Laskey has rushed for 748 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns.
