On Wednesday, the #20 Boise State Broncos (11-2) and the #10 Arizona Wildcats (10-3) will be squaring off in the Fiesta Bowl in a battle between two of the better offenses in the country. The Broncos finished the regular season atop the Mountain West standings, while Arizona ended up atop the Pac 12 South.

Early this month, Boise State was able to beat Fresno State 28-14 in the Mountain West championship game. They were outgained in that win, but they also ended up forcing Fresno State into committing three turnovers.

The Broncos are coming into the Fiesta Bowl as the ninth-best scoring offense in the nation by averaging 39.8 points per game. Their best offensive player has been running back Jay Ajayi, who has rushed for 1,689 yards with 25 touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per carry.

On December 5, Arizona had no answers for Oregon and was blown out 51-13 in the Pac 12 title game. In that loss, the Wildcats had just 224 yards of offense, and their defense allowed Oregon to gain 301 yards on the ground alone.

In 13 games this year, the Wildcats threw for 277.7 yards per game while scoring 34.8 points per game against their opponents. Quarterback Anu Solomon has had a very good season by completing 58 percent of his passes for 3,485 yards, 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.
