The Eastern Michigan Eagles (2-7) will attempt to snap their three-game losing skid when they visit the Western Michigan Broncos (6-3) on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles were able to beat the Broncos 35-32 in overtime last season.

In their game against Central Michigan two weeks ago, Eastern Michigan didn't score their first touchdown until the fourth quarter and ended up getting blown out 38-7. Their offense couldn't get going in that loss, finishing with just 97 total yards.

The Eagles are currently the second-lowest scoring team in the country by averaging just 14.3 points per game. Quarterback Reginald Bell Jr. has only thrown for 486 yards with three touchdowns, but he does lead the team in rushing with 435 yards and four scores. Their top receiver is Tyreese Russell, who has caught 25 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns.

Two weeks ago, Western Michigan won their fourth game in a row when they defeated Miami-Ohio 41-10 on the road. In that win, they had 499 total yards, including 282 yards on the ground.

Western Michigan has been able to score 34.6 points per game this season while only giving up 25.3 points per game. Sophomore quarterback Zach Terrell has 2,311 passing yards on the season with 15 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Wide receiver Corey Davis has 52 receptions for 935 yards and eight touchdowns.
