The Eastern Kentucky Colonels will play their first FBS team this season when they visit the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks on Saturday afternoon.

Eastern Kentucky put up big offensive numbers in their first game of the season and ended up beating Robert Morris 29-10 on the road. The Colonels rushed for a whopping 407 yards against Robert Morris' defense and ended up with 624 total yards. The only reason why the game wasn't more of a blowout was because Eastern Kentucky turned the ball over four times.

Colonels running back Dy'Shawn Mobley didn't score in the game, but he did finish with 142 yards on 25 carries. Fellow running back Jared McClain rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Miami (Ohio) were the first team to see why Marshall is expected to do well this season when they lost 42-27 to them over the weekend. Both teams put up over 415 yards of offense in the game, but Marshall's superior passing game helped them pull off the win. Miami (Ohio) only rushed for a total of 100 yards in the loss.

RedHawks quarterback Andrew Hendrix did pretty well in his first game with the team, throwing for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Rokeem Williams had three catches for Miami (Ohio) for 99 yards and a touchdown.
