The Connecticut Huskies (2-8) will have a very tough time snapping their losing streak on Saturday afternoon as they will have to play the Memphis Tigers (8-3). Last season, the Huskies blew out the Tigers 45-10 at home.

Connecticut's struggles continued last weekend when Cincinnati was able to shut them out 41-0. It was their worst offensive performance of the season, finishing with just 129 total yards and turning the ball over three times.

The Huskies have one of the worst offenses in the country this year by only being able to score 15.6 points per game. Senior quarterback Chandler Whitmer has thrown for 1,482 yards this season with 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Starting running back Ron Johnson has only averaged 3.8 yards per carry this year and has just two touchdowns.

Last Saturday, Memphis won their fifth straight game when they beat South Florida 31-20 at home. They didn't turn the ball over in that win and they finished the game with 470 yards of offense.

Through 11 games, the Tigers are ninth in the country in points against by only giving up 17.7 points per game. Their top offensive threat has been running back Brandon Hayes, who has 840 rushing yards on the year with five touchdowns. Quarterback Paxton Lynch has completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 2,531 yards with 14 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
