The Connecticut Huskies (2-6) will be looking to start their first winning streak of the season when they visit the Army Black Knights (2-6) on Saturday afternoon.

Connecticut played their best offensive game of the season last Saturday when they defeated UCF 37-29 at home. In that win, they rushed for 179 yards and their defense was able to force four turnovers.

The Huskies have really struggled to get into the end zone this year and they are averaging just 16.9 points per game. Quarterback Chandler Whitmer has thrown for 1,301 yards this season with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. Whitmer's top receiver has been senior Geremy Davis, who has 34 receptions for 436 yards and three scores.

Last weekend, Army lost their third game in a row when they were beaten 23-6 by rival Air Force. They only had 169 total yards in that loss, including just 47 yards through the air, and they converted on just one of their 12 third down opportunities.

The Black Knights have been able to rush for 294.8 yards per game, but they are only scoring 23.5 points per game. Quarterback Angel Santiago has thrown for just 362 yards and one touchdown this season, but he does have 576 rushing yards with six rushing touchdowns. Their top running back has been Larry Dixon, who has rushed for 696 yards with five touchdowns.
