The #18 Clemson Tigers (7-2) will be facing the #24 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-2) on Saturday afternoon in a game between two of the best teams from the ACC. Last year, the Tigers were able to blow out the Yellow Jackets 55-31 at home.

Last Thursday, Clemson was able to win their sixth game in a row by beating Wake Forest 34-20 on the road. They had 427 total yards in that win while their defense held Wake Forest to just 119 yards.

Through nine games, the Tigers are 12th in the country in points against by only giving up 18.4 points per game. Their most consistent offensive player has been wide receiver Mike Williams, who has caught 38 passes for 772 yards and four touchdowns this year. Quarterback Cole Stoudt has 1,425 passing yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions.

Georgia Tech won their third straight game last Saturday by blowing out NC State 56-23 on the road. They rushed for a whopping 479 yards in that win and they converted eight out of their 10 third down chances.

The Yellow Jackets currently have the third-best rushing team in the nation by picking up 335.6 rushing yards per game. Quarterback Justin Thomas has thrown for 1,294 yards with 14 touchdowns, and he has rushed for a team-high 781 yards and five more scores. Wide receiver DeAndre Smelter has caught 27 passes this season for 594 yards and six touchdowns.
