The Cincinnati Bearcats (7-3) will be going for their sixth consecutive win when they play the Temple Owls (5-5) on Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats were able to beat the Owls 38-20 at home in 2013.

Last weekend, Cincinnati played its best all-around game by shutting out Connecticut 41-0 on the road. They had 249 rushing yards in that win, and their defense was able to hold Connecticut to 129 total yards.

Through 10 games, the Bearcats are 17th in the country in scoring by averaging 37.3 points per game. Quarterback Gunner Kiel has completed 59.9 percent of his passes this season for 2,646 yards, 27 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Kiel's top receiver has been Mekale McKay, who has 33 receptions for 604 yards and seven touchdowns.

Temple lost their second game in a row two weeks ago when Penn State beat them 30-13 on the road. They only had 61 rushing yards in that loss and they finished the game with five turnovers.

Temple's offense hasn't been very good this year, but their defense has been able to hold opponents to just 19.3 points per game. Wide receiver Jalen Fitzpatrick has caught a team-high 41 passes this season for 625 yards and six scores. Quarterback P.J. Walker has 1,866 passing yards with 12 touchdowns so far this year, but he has also been picked off 14 times.
