The Charleston Southern Buccaneers (8-3) are going to have a very hard time extending their winning streak to four games when they face the #9 Georgia Bulldogs (8-2) on Saturday afternoon. The Buccaneers are third in the Big South right now, and the Bulldogs are in second in the SEC East.

Charleston Southern won their third straight game last weekend when they edged Liberty 38-36 on the road. They did turn the ball over four times in that game, but they were also able to rush for 359 yards.

Charleston Southern's defense has been very solid this year, giving up just 303.1 total yards per game to their opponents. Their top performer has been running back Christian Reyes, who has 871 rushing yards with seven touchdowns through 10 games. Quarterback Austin Brown has 1,833 passing yards this season with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Last Saturday, Georgia won their second game in a row when they routed Auburn 34-7 on their home field. They had 412 total yards in that game, including 289 yards on the ground alone.

Through their first 10 games, the Bulldogs are seventh in the country in scoring with 42.1 points per game. Running back Nick Chubb now has 1,039 rushing yards on the season with nine touchdowns. Senior quarterback Hutson Mason has completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 1,638 yards, 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions.
