On Friday night, the Washington Huskies (8-5) will be looking to end their season on a three-game winning streak when they face the Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-6) in the Cactus Bowl. The Huskies finished the year in third place in the Pac 12 North, while the Cowboys were seventh in the Big 12 standings.

Washington won their first four games this season, then had a bit of a rough stretch, but finished off the year by winning their final two games. They culminated their regular season with a dominant 31-13 victory over in-state rival Washington State on the road.

The Huskies' defense was solid pretty much all year, holding their opponents to just 24.4 points per game. Sophomore quarterback Cyler Miles had a very good season by throwing for 2,129 yards with 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions.

Oklahoma State probably feels a bit lucky to be in a bowl game this season, as they ended up losing five out of their last six games. They did beat Oklahoma 38-35 in overtime in their final game, though, so they will be coming into the Cactus Bowl with some momentum.

The Cowboys averaged 27.4 points per game this season, but they also allowed opposing offenses to score 32 points per game against them. Quarterback Daxx Garman had an up-and-down season this year, finishing with 2,041 passing yards with 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
