The Brigham Young Cougars (4-3) will attempt to snap their three-game losing streak on Friday night when they visit the Boise State Broncos (5-2). BYU was able to beat the Broncos 37-20 at home last year.

After winning their first four games of the season, BYU has now lost three in a row after losing 42-25 to Nevada at home last Saturday. The Cougars did have 601 yards of offense in that game, but they turned the ball over three times.

The Cougars are rushing for 208.1 yards per game this season and they are scoring 32.7 points per game. Quarterback Taysom Hill has thrown for 975 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions, and he is also the team's leading rusher with 460 yards and eight more scores. Wide receiver Mitch Mathews has caught 43 passes for 457 yards and five touchdowns.

Boise State outscored Fresno State 10-0 in the fourth quarter last Friday to pull off a 37-27 home win. They had 492 yards of offense in that win, which included 264 yards on the ground.

Boise State is 25th in the country in passing right now with 291 passing yards per game. Running back Jay Ajayi has been very good through seven games by rushing for 867 yards and 10 touchdowns. Quarterback Grant Hedrick has thrown for 1,831 yards with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions while rushing for 260 yards and two more scores.
