The Boston College Eagles (6-4) will be hoping that their solid defense can handle the passing attack of the #1 Florida State Seminoles (10-0) on Saturday afternoon. The Seminoles defeated the Eagles 48-34 in Boston last season.

Boston College had their two-game winning streak come to an end two weeks ago when they were beaten 38-19 by Louisville at home. They turned the ball over four times in that loss and their defense gave up 423 yards to Louisville's offense.

Boston College has one of the best rushing teams in the country by averaging 264 yards per game on the ground. Quarterback Tyler Murphy hasn't thrown the ball particularly well this year, but he does lead the team with 1,009 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. Running back Jon Hilliman has 602 rushing yards and a team-best 11 touchdowns.

Florida State had a bit of a scare in their game against Miami last weekend, but they kept their perfect record intact by beating them 30-26. They had 418 yards of offense in that win, including 304 yards through the air.

The Seminoles are currently 11th in the country in passing by throwing for 318.3 yards per game against their opponents. Wide receiver Rashad Greene has been their best offensive player by catching 75 passes for 1,042 yards and five touchdowns. Running back Karlos Williams has rushed for 530 yards this season with a team-high nine touchdowns.
