On Saturday afternoon, the Boise State Broncos will go for their second win in three games when they face the Connecticut Huskies on the road.

Boise State only scored seven second-half points against Colorado State on Saturday, but luckily they had scored 30 in the first half to hold on for the 37-24 win. The Broncos had a good, balanced offensive attack in the game, passing for 352 yards and rushing for 324. They are in the top 35 in both rushing and passing, but they have also given up 29.5 points per game.

Boise State's best offensive player so far this season has been senior wide receiver Matt Miller, who has 14 receptions for 235 yards and a touchdown. Running back Jay Ajayi has rushed for 305 yards on 53 carries this year and has scored two touchdowns.

Connecticut was able to hold off a late rally by Stony Brook over the weekend to hold on for a 19-16 home win. They won despite only putting up 223 total yards in the game, including just 142 passing yards. They are currently averaging just 76 rushing yards per game, which is 119th in the country.

Through two games, Huskies quarterback Chandler Whitmer has completed just 20 of his 44 passes for 255 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Wide receiver Geremy Davis has been the star on Connecticut's offense by catching 13 passes for 209 yards and a score.
