On Friday, the Ball State Cardinals (4-7) will be playing their final game of the season when they visit the Bowling Green Falcons (7-4). Ball State is currently fifth in the MAC West, while Bowling Green is in first place in the MAC East.

Ball State snapped their two-game losing streak last weekend when they defeated Eastern Michigan 45-30 at home. They did give up 503 total yards in that win, but they were also able to force three Eastern Michigan turnovers.

Through their first 11 games, the Cardinals have scored 26.5 points per game while giving up 27.5 points per game. Senior running back Jahwan Edwards has had a very solid season by rushing for 1,087 yards with 10 scores. Wide receiver Jordan Williams has 683 yards on 52 catches and he has five touchdown receptions.

Bowling Green had a poor offensive game last Wednesday when they were defeated 27-20 by Toledo on the road. They had just 271 total yards in that loss, and they converted just six of their 18 third down opportunities.

The Falcons have a 7-4 record this season despite allowing other teams to score 31.7 points per game against them. Wide receiver Roger Lewis has caught 62 passes this season for a team-high 874 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback James Knapke has thrown for 2,514 yards with 12 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions.
