On Saturday afternoon, the Army Black Knights (3-6) will attempt to start their first winning streak of the season when they go up against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (4-5). The Hilltoppers defeated the Black Knights 21-17 on the road in 2013.

Army snapped their three-game losing streak last weekend when they were able to beat Connecticut 35-21 at home. They had an easy time running the ball in that win, finishing with 327 rushing yards.

The Black Knights have had no problems moving the ball on offense this year, but their defense has given up 32.8 points per game. Their best offensive player has been quarterback Angel Santiago, who has thrown for 400 yards and one touchdown, and he's rushed for 673 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns.

Western Kentucky outscored UTEP 21-7 in the second half of their game last Saturday and came away with a 35-27 home win. They had 324 passing yards in that game and they didn't end up with any turnovers.

The Hilltoppers are one of the highest-scoring teams in the country by averaging 40.4 points per game, but their defense is one of the worst by giving up 41.6 points per game. Quarterback Brandon Doughty has been excellent this season by throwing for 3,329 yards with 28 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. Running back Leon Allen has 840 rushing yards on the year with eight touchdowns.
