On Friday afternoon, the #13 Arizona State Sun Devils (9-2) will be facing the #12 Arizona Wildcats (9-2) in one of the more intriguing in-state rivalry games of the weekend. The Sun Devils dominated this matchup last season, winning 58-21 at home.

Arizona State got back on the winning track last weekend by blowing out Washington State 52-31 on their home field. They did give up 622 total yards to Washington State's offense in that win, but they were also able to force them into committing five turnovers.

Through their first 11 games, the Sun Devils have thrown for 277.2 yards per game, and they have scored 37.2 points per game. Their best offensive player has been wide receiver Jaelen Strong, who has caught a team-high 71 passes for 982 yards and nine touchdowns.

Against Utah last Saturday, Arizona picked up another big win by rolling to a 42-10 victory. It was their third win in a row and their second win over a ranked opponent this season. They finished that game with 520 yards, including 298 on the ground.

So far this season, Wildcats are one of the best passing teams in the nation by throwing for 299 yards per game. Quarterback Anu Solomon has been one of the best freshmen in the country this season by throwing for 3,216 yards with 25 touchdowns and just seven picks.
