The Air Force Falcons (8-2) will be going for their fifth straight win on Friday night when they face the San Diego State Aztecs (5-5). In 2013, the Aztecs defeated the Falcons 27-20 at home.

Air Force won their fourth straight game last weekend when they beat Nevada 45-38 in overtime. In that win, they took care of the ball and ended up rushing for 342 yards against Nevada's defense.

Air Force is currently eighth in the country in rushing with 288.4 rushing yards per game. Running back Jacobi Owens has been the key to their offense this season by rushing for 1,054 yards with five touchdowns. Quarterback Kale Pearson has 13 touchdown passes and has rushed for 587 yards with six more scores.

This past Saturday, San Diego State gave up 21 fourth-quarter points to Boise State and ended up losing 38-29. The Aztecs' offense was pretty good at gaining yards in that game, but they were just 6-for-16 on their third down chances.

The Aztecs have only been able to score 24.1 points per game this season, but they have a .500 record because their defense is only giving up 22 points per game. Donnel Pumphrey has been one of the best running backs in the nation this year by rushing for 1,363 yards with 15 touchdowns. Quarterback Quinn Kaehler has thrown eight touchdowns, but he has also been picked off nine times.
