Saskatchewan lost on the road in the opener to Hamilton by a score of 23-17. Zach Collaros was injured in the game and it has put his position for this game in question. He was illegally hit in the head after only 1 drive. Isaac Hark relieved Collaros and finished with 2 picks and only 128 yards passing, so Ottawa's pass defense is hoping Collaros can't go on Thursday. Another option to start would be Cody Fajardo, who finished with 66 yards on 9/17 passing but didn't turn the ball over. William Powell did have an excellent game on the ground for Saskatchewan, rushing for 120 yards on 20 touches with one touchdown. KD Cannon finished with 66 yards receiving on 4 catches while Kyran Moore had 3 grabs for 43 yards.
On defense the Roughriders were led by Derrick Moncrief with 7 tackles. Brett Lauther made 1 of 2 field goals for Saskatchewan, hitting from 19 but missing from 41 yards out. Christion Jones finished the game with 8 punt returns for 62 yards (7.8 average) while Loucheiz Purifoy had 4 kick returns for 91 yards (22.8 average).

Ottawa won their opener by a score of 32-28 over Calgary. Dominique Davis threw for 276 yards but had 4 interceptions. He did run for 3 touchdowns, however, including the game-winning TD with 1:22 left to play in the game. Mossis Madu rushed for 112 yards on 24 carries to pace the Redblacks. RJ Harris finished with 82 receiving yards and 6 receptions to lead the receiving corp.
The Redblacks defense surrendered only 299 yards to Calgary, including controlling the clock for 33:04 by getting off the field quickly. The special teams of Ottawa played well, as Lewis Ward was 3 for 3 on field goals including a long of 41 yards. Ryan Lankford finished with 36 yards on 5 punt returns and 101 yards on 5 kickoff returns.
One key in this game will obviously be the health of Zach Collaros. If he is unable to go it'll lean heavily to Ottawa.
So who will win tonight's CFL game against the spread?
