Investors Group Field
Investors Group Field is the site of the game between the Montreal Alouettes and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday, June 22, 2018. The opening line for this game has Winnipeg as 2 point favorites. The over/under has been set at 46.5.
Both teams are currently ranked near the bottom of the league in a couple of defensive stats, but that could change quickly with a strong showing in Week 2. Winnipeg did have the tougher matchup last week and they will be the favorites to beat Montreal in this game.
The Alouettes have an over/under record of 0-1 and they are 0-1 against the spread this year. The Blue Bombers have an ATS record of 1-0 while their over/under record is 1-0.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers Stats
The Blue Bombers played in the most entertaining game of Week 1 when they gave up the lead late in their 33-30 loss to the Edmonton Eskimos. It was the second-longest game in CFL history at about six hours due to the weather and both teams looked like they were in mid-season form at times. Winnipeg will obviously need to step it up a bit more on the defensive side of the ball in the coming weeks, but it looks like their offense will once again be one of the best in the league this year.
Winnipeg running back Andrew Harris, who many consider to be the best RB in the league, had a decent showing in that Week 1 loss. He rushed for 77 yards on 14 carries and he also caught three passes in the game.
The Blue Bombers' top defensive player during that opening game was defensive back Kevin Fogg. The third-year player came up with five tackles, he picked off a pass, and he also recovered a fumble in the losing effort.
Montreal Alouettes Stats
In Montreal's game against the BC Lions last week, they really couldn't get their offense going and ended up losing that one 22-10 on the road. They scored all 10 of their points in the opening quarter and they ended up committing 14 penalties for a total of 125 yards. Montreal didn't come into the season with high expectations, but they will need to play much better against Winnipeg than they did last week to have any shot of coming away with a win.
Despite the team's rough performance, quarterback Drew Willy actually ended up having a pretty good game. He was able to complete 25 of his 35 pass attempts and finished with 281 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Willy doesn't have the best targets to throw to, but he is the type of quarterback who could win some games on his own this year, especially if he keeps playing the way he did against the Lions.
After a season to forget playing for BC last year, new Montreal wide receiver Chris Williams got off to a good start in his first game with the team. The former All-Star had six catches in the loss for 98 yards, including a 56-yard catch.
One player on the defensive side of the ball who did play as expected for Montreal was lineman Jamaal Westerman. The veteran, who had seven sacks for Winnipeg last year, got off to a good start by accruing three tackles and a sack.
