The Argonauts are currently at or near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories. They are last in scoring with just 46 points, they are second from bottom in passing yards, and they have only been able to hold onto the ball for 27.4 minutes per game. The defense has played pretty well through three games, giving up just 85 total points while forcing a league-high four fumbles.
26-year-old quarterback James Franklin has had a pretty good start to the year, throwing for 284 yards with one touchdown while completing 65.8 percent of his passes. James Wilder leads the team in receptions (11) and receiving yards (125), while full back Declan Cross is the team leader in touchdown catches with two.
Defensive back Ronnie Yell has been the Argonauts' most impressive defensive player so far this year as he has been able to come up with 13 tackles and one interception. The team leader in tackles is second-year DB Alden Darby with 15, while veteran lineman Shawn Lemon has been able to come up with a sack and a forced fumble through three games.

Edmonton has unsurprisingly been one of the best offenses in the CFL through the first four weeks of the season. They are second in points scored with 112, second in time of possession, and they are the top passing team in the league. Their defense has given up the second-most points in the league, but they are also near the top of the rankings in sacks (9) and interceptions (5).
Reigning Most Outstanding Player Mike Reilly hasn't had the strongest start to the year by his standards, but he does still lead the league in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and rushing touchdowns. Receiver D'haquille Williams has played well through four games, picking up 433 yards and catching two touchdowns. Running back CJ Gable currently leads the team in rushing yards with 280 yards and he has one rushing score.
Veteran linebacker J.C. Sherritt has been one of the team's top playmakers on defense so far this season, pitching in with 20 tackles and also coming up with one interception. Rookie defensive back Monshadrik Hunter has had a very impressive campaign so far with 13 defensive tackles, five special team tackles, a forced fumble and an interception. Linebacker Christophe Mulumba and defensive end Kwaku Boateng have also played well and are sharing the team in lead in sacks right now with two apiece.
