Ottawa Redblacks Stats
The Redblacks haven't had a very strong season on the offensive side of the ball, but their hard-nosed defense has been able to keep them in just about every game they've played. Their offense is scoring 25.6 points per game and they are third in the league in passing, but their rushing attack has been one of the worst in the CFL. Their defense, though, is giving up less than 26 points per game and they are in the top two in both forced fumbles and pass knockdowns.
Ottawa running back William Powell has been excellent this season, rushing for a league-high 1,362 yards with six touchdowns while also catching 39 passes for 319 yards and two more scores. Placekicker Lewis Ward has also had a very good year by making 48 of his 49 kick attempts, including a long of 52 yards. Veteran quarterback Trevor Harris has thrown for a career-high 4,849 yards this season with 19 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions.
The Redblacks' defense has been led by third-year defensive back Jonathan Rose, who leads the league with five interceptions while also forcing three fumbles. Defensive lineman A.C. Leonard has 48 tackles on the year and he leads the Redblacks in sacks with six. Aggressive defensive back Corey Tindal is the team leader in tackles with 65 and he has also been able to pick up two sacks and two forced fumbles.

Hamilton has had a solid season on both sides of the ball this year. Their offense ranks in the top three in scoring, passing yards, rushing yards, and passing touchdowns, and they currently lead the league in possession time. Their defense has arguably been even better has they have only given up 24.8 points per game and they are second in the league in both forced fumbles and passes knocked down.
Hamilton quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who was named CFL Top Performer of the Month for September, has been able to throw for 4.966 yards this season with 28 touchdown passes against just 16 interceptions while also rushing for 460 yards and two more touchdowns. The team's top wide receiver has been Brandon Banks, who now has 94 receptions for 1,423 yards and 11 scores.
The Tiger-Cats have had a number of standout performers this year on defense, including third-year linebacker Larry Dean, who has been able to pick up a team-high 95 total tackles to go along with two interceptions and three passes defended. Defensive tackle has also been fantastic, picking up 20 tackles and he is currently tied for third in the league in sacks with eight.
