On Saturday night, Stephen Strasburg (10-10) will try to win his fourth game in six August starts when he and the Washington Nationals go up against veteran Chris Young (12-6) and the Seattle Mariners.

Stephen Strasburg could only make it through four innings against the San Francisco Giants on Sunday and ended up with a no decision. He allowed five earned runs on eight base hits in that outing while striking out four batters and walking two. He now has a 3.59 ERA on the season and he has struck out 202 batters in 175.1 innings.

Mariners outfielder Logan Morrison has four hits in 16 at-bats against Strasburg with three walks and three strikeouts. Austin Jackson is 0-for-4 against him with no walks and two strikeouts.

Right-hander Chris Young gave up three runs in 3.2 innings in his start against the Boston Red Sox last weekend and ended up with a no decision. He allowed seven base hits in that start while striking out five batters and walking two. He now has a 3.17 ERA this year and he has given up just 123 hits in 150.1 innings of work.

Nationals catcher Adam LaRoche has hit two home runs off of Young in his career, but he is just 4-for-29 overall against him with seven strikeouts. Danny Espinosa is 3-for-10 against Young with two walks and four strikeouts.
