On Tuesday, Doug Fister will be going for his fifth win in a row when the Washington Nationals go up against the San Francisco Giants, who will send Madison Bumgarner to the mound.

Nats' offseason acquisition Doug Fister continued his winning streak by beating the Philadelphia Phillies at home, picking up his fourth win of the year. Fister went seven strong innings in that outing and gave up just two earned runs on four hits while striking out five and walking no one. Fister's command has been on point this so far this season, walking just two batters in 36.2 innings of work.

The only player on the Giants who Fister has faced is Michael Morse, who is 1-for-6 against him with an RBI.

Madison Bumgarner continued his own winning streak last Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds by pitching eight innings of one-run ball and picking up his eighth win of the season. The right-hander allowed just a solo home run in that game and two other hits while striking out five and walking none. Bumgarner hasn't lost a game since back in late-April and he has 90 strikeouts in 80.2 innings this season.

Veteran Ryan Zimmerman has hit a double and a home run off of Bumgarner in his career, but he is just 3-for-14 overall against him with two strikeouts. Ian Desmond is 4-for-12 against him with a double, two RBI and five strikeouts.
