25-year-old rookie Blake Treinen is expected to get the start for the Washington Nationals on Saturday night and will go up against Andrew Cashner and the San Diego Padres.

Blake Treinen has made a total of two starts for the Nats this season, with his last start coming back on May 22. He went 5.2 innings in that game and allowed two runs on four hits while walking five and striking out four. On the season, Treinen has only allowed three earned runs in 19.1 innings and has struck out 14 batters.

Nationals center fielder Denard Span has done well against Cashner in his career, going 4-for-10 with a double and three RBI. Ryan Zimmerman is 2-for-6 against him with a home run and two RBI.
