Right-hander Zimmermann (12-5) will be going for his third consecutive win for the Washington Nationals when they face Jarred Cosart (4-2) and the Miami Marlins on Saturday.

Last weekend, Jordan Zimmermann has a good outing against the New York Mets on the road and picked up the win. He pitched 6.2 scoreless innings in that start and gave up just six hits while walking one batter and striking out five. He now has a very solid 2.83 ERA on the season and he has only given up 13 home runs in 184.2 innings.

Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones has four hits in his 12 at-bats against Zimmermann with a triple, a home run and four RBI. Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia is just 2-for-10 against him with two walks and five strikeouts.

Jarred Cosart had a pretty good start against the New York Mets on the road on Monday and finished with a no decision. He went six innings in that game and gave up two runs on five hits while walking two and striking out five. Cosart has given up 160 hits in 169 innings this year and he now has a 3.67 ERA.

Nationals veteran outfielder Jayson Werth is 1-for-3 against Cosart in his career with a solo home run. Third baseman Anthony Rendon has one hit in three at-bats against Cosart with no walks and two strikeouts.
