Tuesday night, Tanner Roark (13 -10, 2.96 ERA) gets the call for the Washington Nationals as they take on Aaron Harang (11 – 10, 3.72 ERA) and the Atlanta Braves.  It will be the 30th start for Roark and the 31st for Harang.

Last season, Roark went 1 – 0 with a 0.00 ERA in a start and 2 relief appearances against the Braves.  This season, he is 1 - 0 in 3 starts against Atlanta.

Aaron Harang broke his 3 game losing streak with a victory in his last outing.  In 7 innings of work, Harang allowed just a run on 6 hits while striking out 9 without issuing a single walk.  Victories have been hard to come by for the veteran right-hander in recent weeks.  He is just 2 - 4 in his last 10 starts.  Last season, Harang was just 5 – 12 with a 5.40 ERA in 26 starts for the New York Mets and the Seattle Mariners.

Harang lost his only start against the Nationals in 2013.  So far this season, Harang is 2 – 0 in 3 starts including his last outing.
