Tanner Roark (11-7) will try to win his fifth game in six starts on Saturday night when he and the Washington Nationals take on Aaron Harang (9-6) and the Atlanta Braves.

On Monday, Tanner Roark pitched 6.1 innings against the Baltimore Orioles and he ended up taking the loss. He allowed five runs on seven base hit sin that start and struck out three while walking one. It was a rare bad start for Roark, who now has a 2.94 ERA this season and has walked just 30 batters in 141 innings.

Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has three hits in his nine at-bats against Roark with a double and two strikeouts. Ramiro Pena has one hit in two at-bats against him and is the only player on the Braves who has hit a home run off of the right-hander.

Veteran Aaron Harang pitched pretty well against the San Diego Padres on the road on Sunday, but he ended up with just a no decision for his efforts. He pitched six innings in that game and allowed just two runs on five hits while walking four batters and striking out three. He currently has a 3.41 ERA on the year and he has only given up nine home runs in 142.1 innings.

Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche has just eight hits in 36 at-bats against Harang, but he has also hit four home runs off of him. Jayson Werth is just 3-for-22 against the right-hander with two walks and 10 strikeouts.
