Stephen Strasburg will be hoping to win his fourth game of the season when he and the Washington Nationals go up against Bronson Arroyo and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Stephen Strasburg had one of his better starts last Wednesday when he was able to pick up his third win of the season by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers at home. He pitched a season-high 7.1 innings in that outing and gave up just two earned runs on seven hits while striking out six and walking two. Strasburg has given up more hits than he has in the past, but he's also striking out 12.2 batters per nine innings, which matches his career-high.

Strasburg has done well against Martin Prado over the years, holding him to just four hits in 18 at-bats while striking him out three times. Aaron Hill has fared even worse against the right-hander, getting just one hit in nine at-bats with four strikeouts.

Bronson Arroyo was able to get his record over the .500 mark for the first time this season when he got his third win by beating the Milwaukee Brewers. He pitched 7.1 innings in that game and allowed zero earned runs on five hits and struck out four while walking two.

Adam LaRoche has really struggled over the years against Arroyo by hitting just .156 against him with six strikeouts. Danny Espinosa, on the other hand, has done very well against Arroyo by getting six hits, including one home run, in 11 at-bats.
