On Tuesday night, R.A. Dickey will attempt to end his current four-game losing streak when he and the Toronto Blue Jays face off against left-hander Tyler Skaggs and the Los Angeles Angels.

R.A. Dickey pitched a complete game against the Oakland Athletics last week, but he still ended up with a loss. He went eight innings in that game and gave up four runs (two earned) on six hits while walking three batters and striking out six. The former Cy Young award winner is now 6-8 on the year and his walk rate is the highest that it has been since 2009.

Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton has four hits in five at-bats versus Dickey in his career with a double and two walks. Shortstop Erick Aybar is just 1-for-8 against him with two strikeouts.

In his last start, Tyler Skaggs went 7.2 innings against the Chicago White Sox on the road, but he had to settle for a no decision. He gave up two runs on five hits in that game and struck out six batters while walking just one. Through 13 starts this season, Skaggs has a 4-4 record and he has only given up six home runs in 84.1 innings.

Blue Jays catcher Dioner Navarro has just one hit in his five at-bats against Skaggs, but he is the only player on his team who has hit a home run off of the left-hander.
