J.A. Happ will be going for his seventh win of the season for the Toronto Blue Jays when he goes up against Mike Leake and the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday afternoon.

Left-hander J.A. Happ won for the sixth time this year on Sunday when he defeated the Baltimore Orioles on the road. He went six innings in that start and allowed just one run on seven hits while striking out six and walking no one. In 53.1 innings of work, Happ has given up 10 hits per nine innings, which is the highest rate that he has had since back in his rookie year.

Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips has owned Happ over the years, going 6-for-12 against him with a double, three home runs and six RBI. None of the other Reds have been able to hit a home run against him.

Mike Leake had a pretty rough start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, but he came away with his fourth win of the year because the Reds' offense scored 13 runs for him. He went just five innings in that outing and allowed four runs on nine hits while walking three and striking out three. He is now 4-6 this year with a 3.80 ERA.

Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera has two hits in five at-bats against Leake with no strikeouts. Juan Francisco has just two hits in 10 at-bats against him, but both of those hits were home runs.
