Second-year starter Drew Hutchison (8-10) will make the start for the Toronto Blue Jays when they go up against rookie Scott Carroll (4-7) and the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon.

Right-hander Drew Hutchison pitched 5.2 innings against the Seattle Mariners on the road last Monday and ended up taking the loss. He allowed six earned runs on seven base hits that day while striking out five batters and walking two. He now has a 4.60 ERA on the year and has struck out 124 batters in 137 innings of work.

The White Sox will be going up against Hutchison for the first time on Sunday afternoon. So far this season, he has held right-handed hitters to a .236 batting average and just a .643 OPS in 233 at-bats.

Scott Carroll pitched last Thursday against the Seattle Mariners and ended up losing for the seventh time this season. He went five innings in that game and gave up seven runs on seven hits while walking three and striking out three. Carroll has only struck out 48 batters in 91.2 innings this season and now has a 4.81 ERA.

Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind has three hits in three at-bats against Carroll in his career with a double and three RBI. Veteran catcher Dioner Navarro is 0-for-3 against him with no walks and a strikeout.
