Veteran Mark Buehrle (11-8) will be looking to get over his recent struggles when he takes the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night when they face John Danks (9-8) and the Chicago White Sox.

Mark Buehrle could only make it through 3.1 innings in his outing against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, but he only ended up with a no decision. He gave up five runs (two earned) on nine base hits in that game while striking out four batters and walking no one. Buehrle currently has a 3.31 ERA, but he has given up 171 hits in 149.1 innings of work this season.

White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez has three hits in six at-bats against Buehrle in his career with a double and no strikeouts. Catcher Tyler Flowers is 0-for-6 against him with no walks and a strikeout.

Left-hander John Danks pitched 6.1 innings against the Seattle Mariners on the road on Sunday and ended up losing his second game in a row. He allowed four runs on eight base hits that day while walking two batters and striking out one. Danks has given up 23 home runs in 147 innings this season and now has a 4.96 ERA.

One player on the Blue Jays who Danks has never liked facing is Dioner Navarro, who is 8-for-20 against him in his career with two doubles, three home runs and four RBI.
