31-year-old J.A. Happ will pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night when they take on Felix Doubront and the Boston Red Sox.

J.A. Happ was able to pick up his second win of the season last Thursday when he beat the Cleveland Indians at home. He allowed just one run on six hits in that game while striking out four and walking two. Happ is now 2-1 on the season with a 3.57 ERA and has 14 strikeouts and 12 walks through 17.2 innings pitched.

Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia has three hits through seven at-bats against Happ with a double and an RBI. Jonny Gomes is just 1-for-12 against the lefty with four walks and three strikeouts.

26-year-old starter Felix Doubront ended up getting his second win of the season when he defeated the Minnesota Twins last week on the road. He gave up just one run in that game on seven hits while striking out five and walking one. His ERA is now down to 4.54 on the year, but he has given up over 10 hits per nine innings.

Outfielder Jose Bautista has just three hits in 14 at-bats against Doubront, but all three of those hits were home runs. First baseman Edwin Encarnacion has five hits in 15 at-bats against him with a double, a home run and four RBI.
