On Saturday, J.A. Happ (9-8) will attempt to start just his second winning streak of the season when he and the Toronto Blue Jays go up against Rubby De La Rosa (4-5) and the Boston Red Sox.

J.A. Happ picked up his first win since late July on Sunday when he defeated the New York Yankees at home. He pitched seven innings in that outing and gave up three runs on nine base hits while striking out six batters and walking no one. Happ now has a 4.37 ERA on the year and has struck out 107 hitters in 125.2 innings.

Red Sox first baseman Allen Craig has six hits in 13 at-bats against Happ with a double, two home runs and six RBI. David Ortiz is just 1-for-7 against him in his career with two walks and two strikeouts.

In his last start, Rubby De La Rosa pitched 5.1 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road and ended up with a no decision. He gave up three runs on six hits in that game and walked no one while striking out four. De La Rosa has struck out 6.3 batters per nine innings this year and now has a 3.89 ERA.

Blue Jays infielder Juan Francisco has four hits in six at-bats against De La Rosa in his career with a double, a triple and a home run. Melky Cabrera is 3-for-8 against him with a double and two RBI.
