Marcus Stroman will attempt to win his seventh game of the season when he and the Toronto Blue Jays face Rubby De La Rosa and the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night.

Rookie Marcus Stroman had his second straight great outing for the Blue Jays last week when he was able to beat the Boston Red Sox at home. In his seven innings of work that day, he has gave up just one hit and struck out seven batters while walking two. Stroman is now 6-2 on the season with a 3.21 ERA and he has only walked two batters per nine innings.

In that game against Stroman last week, Red Sox infielder Brock Holt faced him three times and was struck out in every at-bat. None of the Red Sox players were able to get an extra-base hit off of the right-hander.

Rubby De La Rosa made his eighth start of the year last week when he was beaten by the Toronto Blue Jays on the road. He could only make it through four innings in that start and gave up a season-high seven runs on nine hits while walking two and striking out just one. De La Rosa is now 3-3 this season with a 3.54 ERA, but he has only received 2.34 runs per nine innings from his offense in his outings.

Outfielder Juan Francisco is 2-for-2 against De La Rosa in his career and is the only player on the Blue Jays who has been able to hit a home run off of him.
