Current American League wins leader Mark Buehrle and the Toronto Blue Jays will be going up against 23-year-old starter Kevin Gausman and the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night.

Last Saturday, left-hander Mark Buehrle lost for the first time since April 25, but the St. Louis Cardinals only scored one earned run against him in the game. He went seven innings in that outing and allowed just five hits and struck out six in a game the Blue Jays eventually lost 5-0. Buehrle is now 10-2 on the year with an excellent 2.04 ERA and he has only given up three home runs in 88.1 innings.

Delmon Young may find himself in the Orioles' lineup on Thursday because he is 17-for-45 against Buehrle with two doubles, three home runs and six RBI.

In just his second start of the season, Kevin Gausman was able to pitch seven strong innings against the Oakland Athletics and he picked up his first win of the year. He allowed just one earned run in that game on four hits while striking out six and walking just one. Through two starts, Gausman is 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA, but those numbers should improve if he can continue to pitch like he did against the A's.

First baseman Adam Lind has only gone up against Gausman three times in his career so far, but he has shown that he can hit the right-hander by getting two hits, including a double.
