On Monday night, right-hander Colby Lewis will get the start for the Texas Rangers when they go up against Drew Pomeranz and the Oakland Athletics.

On Tuesday, Colby Lewis ended up going five innings against the Miami Marlins at home and picked up a no decision in a game the Marlins eventually won 8-5. He allowed three runs on seven hits in that outing while striking out three and walking four. Lewis has had a rough season so far, going 4-4 with a 5.74 ERA and he has given up a whopping 82 hits in 58 innings.

A's outfielder Coco Crisp has gone up against Lewis 22 times and only has four hits and has been struck out four times. All-Star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is 3-for-4 against him with a double, a triple and an RBI.

Drew Pomeranz pitched yet another good game for the A's on Tuesday, but he received no help from his offense and he ended up with a no decision. He went seven innings in that start and allowed one unearned run on four hits while walking three and striking out two. On the year, Pomeranz has an excellent 1.90 ERA and he has only given up 38 hits in 52 innings pitched.

Donnie Murphy and Alex Rios are the only players on the Rangers who have faced Pomeranz, and they are a combined 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
