On Saturday night, Colby Lewis will be on the mound for the Texas Rangers when they face eight game winner Bartolo Colon and the New York Mets.

Colby Lewis had one of his better starts of the year last weekend when he pitched six innings against the Minnesota Twins. He gave up just two runs on five hits in that start while striking out eight batters and walking no one. Lewis does have a 5-5 record, but he's lucky to have that many wins considering he has a very high 5.71 ERA.

Veteran outfielder Bobby Abreu has faced Lewis more than any of the other Mets and is 4-for-15 against him with two RBI and three strikeouts. Outfielder Chris Young is 0-for-3 against him with one strikeout.

Bartolo Colon had one of his roughest starts of the year on Sunday when he was beaten by the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road. He gave up five earned runs in six innings of work that day while walking one batter and striking out two. The 41-year-old now has an 8-6 record on the year with a 3.88 ERA and he has only walked 15 hitters in 106.2 innings pitched.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has 19 hits in 70 at-bats versus Colon in his career with seven doubles, five home runs and 15 RBI. Shortstop Elvis Andrus is just 5-for-21 against him with three strikeouts.
